A Universidade Eduardo Mondlane (UEM) deu mais um passo para o estabelecimento do Gabinete de Mobiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de Fundos (Grants\u2019 Office<\/em>), com a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o, de 6 a 8 de Agosto de 2026, de um workshop organizado pelo Gabinete de Planifica\u00e7\u00e3o, Qualidade e Estudos Institucionais (GaPQEI), no \u00e2mbito do Subprograma Strengthening the Grants Office System<\/em>. O encontro teve como objectivo analisar e aperfei\u00e7oar os instrumentos necess\u00e1rios \u00e0 concretiza\u00e7\u00e3o do Grants\u2019 Office.<\/em><\/p>

Durante tr\u00eas dias, 15 participantes, entre membros da Coordena\u00e7\u00e3o do Projecto Strengthening the Grants Office System<\/em>, representantes das Faculdades, Escolas e Centros da UEM, gestores e t\u00e9cnicos das \u00e1reas de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, inova\u00e7\u00e3o, planifica\u00e7\u00e3o, finan\u00e7as e assuntos jur\u00eddicos, bem como especialistas e convidados com experi\u00eancia em gest\u00e3o de financiamentos e projectos de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, participaram em sess\u00f5es plen\u00e1rias, trabalhos em grupos e an\u00e1lise de documentos. Entre as principais actividades, destacaram-se a an\u00e1lise do Regulamento do Fundo de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o da UEM, a discuss\u00e3o e o aperfei\u00e7oamento da proposta de Regulamento do Grants\u2019 Office<\/em> e a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o de mecanismos de articula\u00e7\u00e3o entre a futura estrutura e as unidades acad\u00e9micas.<\/p>

Como resultado, os participantes contribu\u00edram para o alinhamento das fun\u00e7\u00f5es dos diferentes \u00f3rg\u00e3os nas responsabilidades relacionadas com a gest\u00e3o administrativa e financeira do Fundo de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, tendo o Regulamento do Grants\u2019 Office<\/em> sido aperfei\u00e7oado, particularmente nos aspectos relacionados com as atribui\u00e7\u00f5es dos diferentes intervenientes. O programa incluiu igualmente a an\u00e1lise dos regulamentos das Faculdades, Escolas e Centros da UEM, com vista \u00e0 identifica\u00e7\u00e3o de mecanismos de articula\u00e7\u00e3o institucional com o futuro Grants\u2019 Office<\/em>, bem como a discuss\u00e3o da proposta de cria\u00e7\u00e3o da Comiss\u00e3o do Grants\u2019 Office<\/em>, incluindo o seu papel, composi\u00e7\u00e3o e compet\u00eancias. Foi ainda definido um roteiro para o estabelecimento da estrutura, com a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o das ac\u00e7\u00f5es priorit\u00e1rias e respectivas responsabilidades.<\/p>

A futura estrutura dever\u00e1 contribuir para fortalecer a capacidade da UEM na mobiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de financiamentos para investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, inova\u00e7\u00e3o e transfer\u00eancia de tecnologia, com impacto no desempenho da Universidade em geral. A Direc\u00e7\u00e3o Cient\u00edfica esteve representada pela Doutora Noor Gulamussen e pelo Mestre Uaite Primeiro. Segundo a informa\u00e7\u00e3o partilhada pela Doutora Noor, a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o desta iniciativa constitui \u201cum salto grande na transforma\u00e7\u00e3o da UEM em universidade de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d.<\/p>
